As a finance manager you will lead the financial accounts team, reporting directly to the financial controller. You will prepare financial accounts, advise and support all TAX and VAT matters across the group and build strong relationships with internal and external auditors and other teams within finance.

Description
Our client is looking to appoint a full time Financial accountant, to lead the Financial Accounts team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
You will prepare statutory financial accounts, act as focal point for all subsidiary accounts in UK and overseas, provision of advice and support for all VAT and tax matters across the Group.
You will build relationships with internal and external auditors, HM Revenue and Customs, Faculties and Services within the University and other teams within Finance, bankers and investment companies.
Profile
You will be a Qualified Accountant possessing strong technical and financial accounting skills. You will be able to clearly articulate complex financial issues with well developed influencing skills and the ability to persuade others.
