A Client Accountant job for a firm of Accountants based in Manchester who work solely in the digital space.

Your new company
I am currently working with a progressive firm of accountants who do things differently. They are currently recruiting for a Client Accountant to join their growing team. The company works with some extremely ambitious and entrepreneurial businesses in the creative market, and you will be responsible for all of your clients financial affairs using the most up to date and market leading technology. This is an ideal opportunity for someone working within a Chartered Accountants, who would like to gain some meaningful industry exposure - an ideal stepping stone in to an industry operating role.

Your new role
You will manage a portfolio of clients generally up to £1m in T/O. You will be responsible for managing their entire finance function, up to the production of management and year end accounts. You will also be responsible for overseeing your clients finance functions such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control and bank reconciliations. In addition to the above, you will also manage clients self assessment tax returns, advise on tax matters and other financial matters where appropriate.
You will manage your own workload and diary, and you will have a close working relationship with a Finance Partner within the firm who you will support when required.

What you'll need to succeed
The ability to build a strong rapport with your client is key. Your clients will heavily rely on you for not only the production of accounts, but in the service that you offer you will always looking at areas where you can add real value to your clients businesses.
You will be either Part Qualified, or fully Qualified, and study support is available for those candidates who are wanting to start, or complete their professional exams.
