Cloud Assistant Manager working for a well established accountancy firm based in Greater Manchester

One of the leading and most reputable award winning firms in the North West are looking appoint an Assistant Manager into their cloud accounting team to support their growing portfolio. The firm offer a broad range of services including accountancy, audit, cloud accounting, corporate finance, payroll, tax planning and advisory and financial planning.

Your new role
In your new role you will form a key part of the specialist cloud accounting team, supporting the Manager. You will use your cloud accounting knowledge to help clients deliver innovative accounting solutions.

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a range of cloud accounting services to your portfolio but also assisting the manager with the developing and mentoring of trainees as well as managing some of the ad hoc project work within the team.

You will be involved in preparing / reviewing accounts in accordance with FRS102/102-1a, for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders in a range of industries. As well as year end accounts, you will also get involved in management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping using cloud software. Over time you will develop your own portfolio of clients with responsibility for managing deadlines, budgets and relationships.

Joining a growing team there is lots of scope to progress in a way which utilises your strengths and skill set which will be supported with quarterly reviews.


What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ambitious and passionate cloud accountant who can demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and with a range of cloud software and connecting apps. You will ideally be in the latter stages of your study or have recently qualified in your ACA / ACCA however QBE applicants will also be considered.

You must be a strong interpersonal and organisational skills to succeed in this role as you develop your managerial skills.

What you'll get in return
As a Cloud Accounting Assistant Manager you will receive a salary of circa £35000 DOE plus a wider ranging benefits package including study support, 23.5 days holiday + bank holidays free parking, 8% pension contribution, hybrid working policy flexi hours, firm wide bonus scheme and a arrange of other flexible benefits.

You will be joining a friendly, successful growing specialist team in their modern Bury offices.
