This Big 4 firm is looking to appoint a new Accounting Services Manager into their Manchester office. Your new role
The accounting services department offers outsourced accounting services to companies. you will be responsible for overseeing a team responsible for the preparation of statutory financial statements, providing skilled accountants on secondment where clients have a temporary need for additional resources and bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts.
Throughout this you will take a lead on client engagement, acting as the main point of contact answering any questions or queries as well as playing an active role in the training and development of your team, coaching and mentoring juniors and seniors.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant who possesses a strong previous background in practice. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting as well as good working knowledge of both UKGAAP and IFRS.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 as well as a healthy benefits package. You will also have the opportunity to develop your skills as both an accountant or manager in a bug 4 environment that offers plentiful progression not only to senior manager but also beyond.
