Finance Manager Job based in Leatherhead

You will be joining a tight knit manufacturing company, in a specialised division. This organisation actively encourages growth and development. You will be joining as a Finance Manager reporting directly to the Managing Director with a dotted line to the Finance Director.


Your new role
As a Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director with a small team of accountants reporting to you. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, year-end accounts, budgets, and forecasts.

You will be supervising the Accounts function and associated staff, the migration of accounts from Deema to Oracle, and the cashflow. You will also review and update financial processes and assist the Managing Director with any other ad hoc tasks.

You will play a key role interacting with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues from all other departments, and negotiating with commercial clients. Alongside this, you will analyse and report on expenditure, asset acquisitions, and capital expenditure


What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong experience within a Senior level Accounting function, with a good track record at a management level. You will be skilled in the production of timely, accurate, and informative financial and managerial information.

You will be comfortable with new IT systems and with partnering with Senior Management, challenging when appropriate. You will have a positive, team focussed attitude as you develop in the finance function.
