My client is a growing SME based on the outskirts of Cheltenham with UK and international sales across Europe, the US and Australia.
Reporting to the CEO the Finance Manager is an integral position within the organisation. The key function of this role is to analyse financial information, support both operational and sales functions as required. To recommend implement effective strategies to enhance overall business performance.
Combining both accounting, operational and management skills, this Commercial Finance Manager position has overall accountability for preparing, developing, and applying findings from financial reports to enhance operational capability. Responsibilities include maintaining financial policies and management information systems, alongside establishing effective communication channels to inform management on all aspects of company finance.
As key member of a small management team the role is very 'hands on' whereby the management team do and are involved supporting the Production Technicians as required.
Skills and qualifications
The Finance Manager must CIMA/ACCA /ACA qualified. The suitable candidate must be detail-oriented and analytical with outstanding maths skills and an in-depth understanding of current accounting principles, along with an understanding of operational and sales skills.
