The Job

This market leading Global Asset Manager is looking for an ambitious Investment Analyst to join their Private Debt team, forming an integral part of the team investing in Global Secondaries opportunities. The team is one of THE leading Secondaries Debt teams in the global market, and you will have the chance to gain great exposure in this hands-on role, in a well-respected firm that gives clear and meritocratic career progression to hard working individuals. You will have exciting opportunities to work with blue chip clientele, working for a company that is pioneering the Secondaries market and boasts huge AUM.

Your Responsibilities

You will be working closely with all members of a flat structured team, assessing exciting investment opportunities in an exponentially growing Secondary market. You will support on all aspects of the deal, from the modelling and due diligence of material for potential deals, right through to the presentation of investment recommendations to Investment Committees, participating from an early stage in your career. You will support with deal negotiations and completion, whilst monitoring the evolution of completed transactions across the Global Debt market. This is a growing yet established team, and your ideas will be invaluable to continue the excellent progress they have made, pioneering strategies in the Secondary Debt market.

Your Experience

You will succeed in this role if you are ambitious, hardworking and eager to learn in a role that rewards merit. A knowledge of the Private Debt market is a must, and you will be advantaged if you have knowledge of the Secondaries market. At least 2-5 years' experience in Debt markets is necessary, in either Leveraged Finance, Direct Lending or other relevant investment roles. You will need strong financial modelling skills, be able to work within tight time frames with large workloads autonomously and be a natural problem solver. You will need to be a great communicator and team player, working in a low-ego environment where results are achieved together.
