This is a 3 - 5 month interim opportunity holding the number 1 in Finance role whilst a Permanent FC is recruited
Client Details
My client is a well established manufacturing business that has been operating in the UK for a number of years.
They are now a part of a large international group and have a site turnover of c£50m.
Description
This is a pivotal role within this business.
The Financial Controller will be operating as the number 1 in Finance on site for the business and will report to the local MD and the Group CFO.
You will manage a small team of c5 staff and will be very hands on with the day to day running of the finance department. this will include budgeting, forecasting, transactional finance and payroll.
You will also be responsible for delivering high quality report to the Board locally and the Group Finance function on a monthly basis.
The business are also looking to acquire some other smaller competitors, so you may get involved in the due diligence side and then helping integrate these new businesses into the accounting function locally.
Profile
You will be a qualified Accountant
You will have excellent manufacturing or FMCG experience at a senior level in finance
you will have good people management skill.
You will have excellent reporting skills
Job Offer
a 3 - 5 month interim assignment
salary negotiable around the £400 - £550 per day mark via and Umbrella company (role is inside ir35)
you will be happy to work on site 5 days a week. this may mean a stay away for this role.
