Credit Manager, Banbury

Your new company

A big manufacturing and distribution company based in Banbury.

Your new role

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will be:

  • Management of Accounts Receivable function, ensuring that Aged Debt is monitored and reviewed regularly.
  • Managing the team to ensure correct processes are followed and claims, queries, credits are all dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Management of +120 debt to be consistently in line with Bank Covenant guidelines.
  • Awareness of Anti Money Laundering Company policies and procedures.
  • Team development, driving excellence within the team, leading by example demonstrating high level of motivation and professionalism, ensuring all team members have up to date effective PDP's in place.
  • Promoting Process Improvement environment across the team, encouraging a positive environment where best practice is shared, new suggestions and ideas are welcomed


What you'll need to succeed

  • Must have experience of managing a team
  • Experience in accounts receivable positions
  • Effective statistical analysis and information management.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to delegate and motivate others.
  • Prioritising and time management skills
  • Knowledge of VAT rules and regulations
  • Experience of reconciliation and running month and year-end reports.
