Financial Reporting Manager - Real Estate
Your new company
You will be working for a global property developer with a number of known flagship destinations. They are looking to implement SAP and so require additional support in their finance team whilst others are directing their time towards this 'go live' procedure. They are committed to continued development being carried out sustainably, with a number of pipeline projects.
Your new role
You will be their Financial Reporting Manager, with the key objective of actively managing and delivering the statutory reporting and accounting compliance for UK and Europe entities. Main duties will include:
- Production of statutory accounts for 50+ entities ensuring IFRS compliance
- Develop a detailed understanding of group structure for all entities
- Manage two direct reports
- Provide technical accounting advice with respect to changing standards
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with an in-depth knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS. There are over 50 entities in the group, so an ideal candidate will have experience reporting for a similar group size. Previous experience of the real estate sector is beneficial but not a prerequisite for this position. Team management in a past role will demonstrate an ability to supervise direct reports.
