Our client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant on an initial 12 month contract
Client Details
Our client is a global business with offices in Glasgow
Description
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:
- Provide timely and accurate monthly management accounts including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow statement
- Manage monthly journal, accruals and prepayments
- Group reporting request to US parent company
- Preparation of cash and financial forecasts and other ad hoc reports as required
- Assistance with Annual budgets/ Forecast
- Lead the preparation of the statutory financial statement
- Liaise with external auditors through the year end audit process, ensuring adherence to external reporting timetable
- Assist with intercompany transaction and reporting
- Prepare and submit electronic VAT returns and compliance submissions for HMRC
- Liaise with external service provider on UK/ foreign tax returns and related compliance submissions for oversea subsidiaries
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum:
- Qualified accountant or Qualified by experience
- ERP experience
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel
- Tax and VAT knowledge
