Working within a large consumer business based in Birmingham, you will look after one of their key divisions as the Head of Commercial Finance

Due to the ongoing progression within the team, a high calibre qualified Head of Commercial Finance is now required to support the senior leadership team with all aspects of commercial decision making.
Description
- Leading a small accounts team responsible for commercial finance, as well as interacting with stakeholders and senior leaders
- Liaising with the Department heads and Senior stakeholders
- Developing systems and processes to ensure standards and reporting requirements are achieved
- Management of the client business plan
- Supporting the compilation and management of the business budget
- Being the point of contact for external auditors - around capital expenditure projects and schemes
Profile
- Fully Qualified Accountant ( CIMA/ACCA)
- Previous experience of leading and developing a commercial finance team
- Be an excellent communicator - able to flex your style accordingly
- Strong commercial awareness - able to understand the longer-term impact of business decisions
- Be a natural analyst - able to quickly and evaluate ideas and data
- Influencing abilities - both in the business and with external stakeholders
