Job Details

This role in the Finance Department is critical to the success of the business, providing internal management accounting, costing, and ad hoc tasks to support the CFO and senior management in achieving their goals. The role also requires a proactive approach in providing accurate and timely management reporting to meet internal and external requirements whilst acting as a finance business partner to the wider business areas.

My client is a leading global supplier of original parts for the automotive industry, designing, developing and producing key world class products for a range of clients and customers across the globe.

Description

  • Produce monthly management accounts, including sales accrual journals and fixed cost variance explanations
  • Perform standard costing, including monthly cost rollup and variance analysis
  • Analyse and report on sales and margins, including daily sales, monthly PBFE, and ad-hoc analysis
  • Analyse and forecast labor costs
  • Track sales rebates and discounts, and create monthly journal entries
  • Analyse and track production usage variances (MUC)
  • Maintain customer tooling tracker and IFRS15 postings
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and forecast
  • Monitor and update inter-company transfer prices annually
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by management, including standard rate updates.
  • Good understanding of standard costing and sales margins, ability to manage heavy workloads, self-motivated and a team player, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint,preferably with SAP experience, excellent communication skills.

Profile

  • Proven management accounting working experience ideally for a medium to large manufacturing company
  • Professional qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or quailed by experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced hands on environment.
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of business stakeholders
  • Someone looking to learn and progress with an organisation
  • Able to deputise for the site CFO when required.
