We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management Accounts Manager, with a strong practice background, to manage and support a team of management accountants and bookkeepers, providing outsourced client services (including VAT and FCA returns) to a diverse range of clients.  Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Review and oversee the preparation and completion of management financial statements, VAT and FCA returns

  • Review clients’ payroll when prepared by the payroll department

  • Manage bookkeeping services and ensure they are provided in an accurate and timely manner

  • Liaise with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients

  • Ensure WIP levels are kept within set budgets and instruct corrective actions when budget over runs

  • Lead, motivate, train and support a team of Bookkeepers and Management Accountants in building effective relationships with our clients

  • Identify and develop new client opportunities. Develop strong relationships internally and externally to leverage work opportunities.

You will be confident in working to a high standard, have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to your work. You will have relevant experience in a supervisory / managerial role within practice environment, delivering excellent client service. You will also have/be:
 

  • ICAEW / ACCA or equivalent

  • Up to date knowledge of accounting practices
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise work
  • Excellent work ethics

  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
