This role is in the Financial Regulatory Reporting team, responsible for delivering essential reports . The role requires a qualified or nearly qualified accountant with a good understanding of core accounting concepts, able to produce high-quality financial reports under tight time pressure and handle the end-to-end production of the reports, with an opportunity to work on company wide business projects.

Description

  • Ensuring accurate and reliable reporting to maintain a strong relationship with regulators.
  • Producing financial reports to a high quality.
  • Owning the end-to-end production of the reports, from collating raw data inputs to summarising and consolidating numbers in Excel working files.
  • Understanding and analysing key movements in the reports.
  • Opportunities to work on projects within the team to strive for excellence and efficiency.
  • Being part of the team delivering essential reporting to the PRA and the Bank of England

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Experience of working in a reporting function, demonstrating delivery of information to high quality standards within a compliance-oriented culture
  • Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills
  • Good Excel skills- particularly with formulae e.g. vlookup, sumproduct, sumif and ability to work with a large volume of data
  • Focus on high standards and attention to detail
  • An appetite to make improvements
  • Good process and stakeholder management skills
  • Good team player with a collaborative attitude
