Your new company
I am working with a leading life insurance business who are looking for a senior finance professional to head up the finance team across the UK and Europe. This is an innovative, forward thinking business who are well known for their flexible work approach and high performing culture.

Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:

  • Management and development of a high performing finance team of circa 15 heads.
  • Oversight of financial reporting and policy including close process and technical accounting matters.
  • Oversight of finance operations including investments and treasury.
  • Oversight of FP&A including cost management, MI and business planning.
  • PRA and FCA regulatory duties as SMF 2 for the business unit.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven experience in the life insurance sector. You will need a good technical grounding in finance including IFRS and US GAAP knowledge. You will need to have excellent leadership and gravitas, capable of leading and developing a large team. Reinsurance industry experience is also desirable.
