Michael Page are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst to join a growing Public Sector organisation based in Central Leeds on a permanent basis.

Client Details

The client is a growing public sector organisation based in Central Leeds. They are a new organisation who are now going through their next phase of recruitment by developing and solidifying their finance team. They hold an excellent reputation on the market and offer a range of benefits including a competitive holiday and pension allowance. They are offering hybrid working with the role requiring someone on site for 3 days a week.

Description

As an Senior Finance Analyst, duties will include but are not limited to, producing financial reports, prepare and develop new processes, deliver on deadlines for financial outputs for stakeholders, identify implement and review internal controls, review and ensure accurate processing of requests for transactions and payments, identify and challenge anomalies in financial data and requests, ensure effective engagement with business stakeholders to deliver effective payment processing, improving systems and processes, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
  • Have established new processes ESSENTIAL
  • Have supported implementing and operating financial software tools DESIRABLE
  • Have worked within a financial operations role ESSENTIAL
