Oracle Fusion - Finance Project Manager - 2 Year Project - ERP Implementation for Global Corporation

Your new company
As the Finance Project Manager you will work as part of the Corporate Finance and ERP Project team to understand, evolve, and optimize the end-to-end processes and key data touchpoints across the Corporate Finance Systems ecosystem.

This role will work closely with business and IT key stakeholders to support initiatives and ensuring quality solutions that meet business requirements. This role will actively participate in and support various global finance process/controls improvement and financial systems transformation projects.

Your new role

  • Understanding the project scope, schedule, deliverables; and working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations
  • Reporting, analysing, and resolving issues related to the implementation, stakeholders, and project operations that may impact service quality; ensuring that stakeholders' questions and problems are resolved properly and quickly
  • Leveraging finance process and technology best practices; partnering with finance organizations as well as various corporate functions (HR, Procurement, Legal) to support and improve existing business processes
  • Driving simplification and standardization strategies across brands and countries
  • Working to elicit high-level requirements and capturing business needs through dialogue with business partners and key stakeholders
  • Supporting applications and solutions delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate requirements and validate proposed solutions
  • Performing impact analysis and supporting application testing, implementation, and training activities throughout the process
  • Developing standard work to support the ERP Implementation
  • Supporting International Finance ERP related business process/activities
  • Ensuring quality data for conversion
  • Identifying data quality issues and working to resolve through best practice strategies
  • Monitoring performance of project tasks
  • Documenting existing processes and driving consistency across entities through policy implementation
  • Accessing, communicating and managing risks of entities
  • Ensuring project deliverables are completed on time
  • Anticipating issues or conditions within division that may impact the original estimate or project budget
  • Preparing Project Activity reports in a timely manner
  • Compiling meeting minutes and project deliverables


What you'll need to succeed

  • Must possess expert knowledge of financial processes and controls
  • Prior experience with Oracle ERP Implementations
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience in leveraging technology to improve finance processes
  • Process-oriented with the ability to structure processes and related data across brands and countries
  • Experience in defining, scoping, and managing process initiatives
  • Ability to gather, structure and analyse data from multiple data sources
  • Must possess operational accounting experience
  • Ability to communicate/present to management
  • Ability to play both a strategic and tactical role as a leader and demonstrate an ownership mentality
  • Strong initiative-taker with a resilient, solution minded approach to complex problems
  • Ability to partners with others to simplify complex processes, break down barriers and incorporate the ideas of others
  • Demonstrated experience in the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Workday, Planful, OneStream and Blackline preferred
