Our client is looking to recruit a Project Accountant on an initial 12 month contract. This is a newly created role due to growth in the business
Client Details
Our client is a global brand with offices in Scotland
Description
The role will entail but will not be exclusive to:
- Month end reporting
- Reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
- Providing assistance to the transactional finance team in AP and AR
- Budgets and forecasts
- Being heavily involved in the planning and accounting for a large capital project and site move
- Cash flow monitoring and reporting on variances
- Supporting with year-end activities
Profile
The successful candidate requires as a minimum
- Experience in a similar role focusing on project accounting
- Part qualified or qualified by experience
- Prior experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing sectors would be beneficial
- JD Edwards or SAP knowledge
