Finance Analyst

A Finance Analyst Job based in North Surrey with a salary of up to £70k.

You will be joining a large manufacturing and distribution company with over 100 years of industry experience and innovation. This multi-national organisation will provide you with a fast-paced environment in which you will play a key role within the EMEA finance team. You will be joining this company at an exciting time in Surrey as a Finance Analyst.


Your new role
As a Finance Analyst, you will be reporting to the EMEA Head of Finance. You will be leading the investment management process, including capital expenditure, trade working capital, and overhead cost control. You will play a critical role with partnering across functions, driving the long-term capital plan, and the annual budget.

You will be guiding and enforcing the capital expenditure framework, including prioritization processes and metrics across the region. You will also be tasked with managing the business' project portfolio tool, which includes the release of project budgets post stage-gate approval.

You will provide insightful reporting, analysis, and commentary to highlight opportunities and optimize business overheads and underlying business performance. Alongside this you will be accountable for reporting inventory and cashflow analysis. You will also provide your leadership and expertise for capital management throughout the region to optimize allocation of capital expenditure.

You will also provide support on decision making, target setting, investment, and performance.



What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role and in addition to your professional accounting qualification you should evidence a good track record of managing large scale capital expenditure programs within a large, global business.

You will also align with the company's reputation for integrity and ethics, alongside solid business acumen with an achievement orientated focus.
