Our client is a small/ medium Multi-Academy Trust located in Buckinghamshire.
Description
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is part of the senior leadership team, located near Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire, with broad responsibility for:
- Strategic Leadership & Delivery
- Financial Accountability & Governance
- Operational Management
- Performance Management
- Sustainability and Growth
Role and responsibility includes but is not limited to:
Lead education professional for all the academies in the Trust and is accountable for providing strategic leadership and delivery to the Trust's Executive Leadership Team in fulfilment of the Trust's strategic goals and within the vision, values and strategy agreed by the Board;
Accountable for the financial viability of the Trust, ensuring it is secure, its finances are firmly based on accurate analysis, optimum use of resources is made, and sufficient surplus funding is generated to meet the Trust's development needs
The COO is accountable for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Trust
The COO is accountable for the overall performance of the Trust

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA TO BE CONSIDERED
Chief Operating Officer experience required is:
- Senior leadership role ( CEO/COO/CFO/Director) gained in multi-academy Trust/ Educational Trust sector.
- Demonstrable experience of driving performance across the Trust
- UK right to work.
