Your new company

In your new role, as a Controls Assurance Manager with this Top 10 Firm based in Central London - you will look after your own portfolio, servicing a set of clients; whilst delivering assurance services, managing a small team and supporting your relevant partners with business development and practice management.

Your new role

You will be required to act as a lead on a range of clients which could range from a start-up looking to implement controls for the first time, through to listed FTSE firms who are going through entire change management projects. As such, you will need to have an understanding and experience of Governance, Risk and Compliance and how this will help companies to reach certain objectives.

This is a management role and so will involve management responsibilities; which will need you to assist with resource planning, performance management, as well as the mentoring and training of staff members to help them achieve their potential.

You will need to support your partners in Business Development activity, including leading on certain client pitch teams as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent)
  • Clear, and significant understanding of internal controls and their applications
  • Knowledge of reporting standards including ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000 and SSAE 18, amongst others.
  • Experience with Sox engagements
  • Knowledge of IT General Controls
