Job Details

Newly created Group Management Accountant position for a growing global SME. This is a varied and hands on role, responsible for providing monthly financial reporting and insight to the leadership team and leading on the budgeting and forecasting process. This is a fully remote role, with occasional travel to London as required.

Their central services team works fully remotely, and you will work closely with the Board to support on business decision making, becoming a truly valued member of the team.

Description

As Group Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing monthly financial reporting and insight for the global leadership team
  • Lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ad hoc financial reporting as needed to assist with the day to day running of the business
  • Work closely alongside the Group Financial Accountant to ensure ledgers are updated for reporting each month and properly reviewed and closed
  • Provide analysis through review of performance and investigation into variances
  • Update, improve and maintain reporting templates
  • Work with billing administrators to ensure monthly billing is recorded accurately and on a timely basis
  • Work with external payroll providers and ensure staff costs are correctly recorded
  • Update cashflow position and forecast balances for each legal entity. Manage cash movements as required
  • Prepare Group allocation adjustments for shared cost attributions across the Group
  • Assist with ongoing reconciliations and review of key balance sheet accounts
  • Work with the COO and Board to prepare the annual strategic budget and half year reforecast
  • Participate and provide input into the global family for various initiatives to make improvements
  • Ad hoc support to wider finance and leadership team

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong management accounting/financial reporting experience
  • Confident communicator and ability to work with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software (desirable)
  • Multi-currency experience (desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proactive in obtaining information and explanations

Job Offer

In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£50-55k (dependent on experience), plus wider package. This is a fully remote role, with occasional travel to London offices as required.
