Your new company

Your new company is a Japanese conglomerate business with operations and business interests in many sectors from Manufacturing to Power to Automotive to Food to Media. They are based in very stylish offices in Central London with amazing transport links and a very supportive team.

The business has taken on a great flexible working policy and the Internal Audit team for example are attending the office 1-2 days per week, in line with the new company policy.


Your new role

In your new role as Senior Internal Auditor, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager and work in a tight knit team of 7. The position is really varied comprising of Financial, Operational and Compliance audits. The important thing to note is that the IA team will work on a wide audit scope covering different business areas on each audit. The team share the workload with each auditor looking into perhaps 3 or 4 different areas at the same time. Therefore you will need to be comfortable doing this, and ideally have experience working in a similar manner.

The team are aware that they are not needed to be on site for as much of their fieldwork as they used to and so the audit plan takes this into account. The team are therefore now expecting to be doing circa 20-25% international travel, nearly exclusively within Europe.


What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working within a clear Internal Audit function, or clear aptitude and exposure to it in a finance role
• Knowledge of Risk & Controls will be a huge bonus
• Experience working on multiple audit focusses at the same time
• Understanding of a Japanese working culture will be a bonus
• Right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
