Operations Accountant

Great opportunity to join the UK leading food manufacturing business at their facility based in South Norfolk.


Your new company
You will be joining an established UK well known business, based at their site in Attleborough, South Norfolk. Onsite in Attleborough, they produce ready meals and supply to well known supermarkets across the UK. All meat is cooked and imported into the factory. As a business in Attleborough, they are consistently growing and have ambitious plans to grow further.

Your new role
As Operations Accountant, you will be reporting into and working alongside the Finance Lead based onsite in Attleborough.

You will primarily be responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts, annual budget/projection monthly forecasts and year end accounts; delivering accurate cost of sales performance reporting and analysis with variances to budget/forecast; completion and submission of reports, analysis and data; deliver accurate new product costings, complete post launch evaluations and review existing costings to maintain accuracy; working with the operational team onsite and support them.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, it is highly desirable that you have experience in a similar role as a Operations Accountant, Finance Business Partner or Financial Analysis with a recognised qualification (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) within a manufacturing or FMCG business, however we are considering applications from all backgrounds.

They have recently implemented a new stock (Innova) & finance system (SAP), so their preference would be someone with some strong system knowledge and experience using those systems, however again this is only desirable and not essential.

What you'll get in return
On offer is a salary of up to circa £50,000 per annum plus some added benefits that include 25 days holiday + bank holiday, pension scheme with employer matching up to 10%, private healthcare, life assurance 6x annual salary.
