Job Details

The Management accountant will be responsible for the delivery of all Management Accounting and Backoffice support work carried out by the Shared Services team. This comprises of Management Accounts, forecasting, cash flows, Interim CFO, VAT returns, CIS returns and Bookkeeping support, as well as advising clients on all aspects of the day-to-day financial administration of their businesses

A network of independent practice across Derbyshire and Nottingham. This group has grown rapidly in the past 5 years and has plans to double this with the acquisition of 3 other accountancy practices in the coming year.

Description

  • Responsible for delivery of the following service lines:
    • Back office support
    • CIS returns
    • Interim CFO
    • Management accounts
    • VAT returns
  • Developing the structure and delivery of these service lines.
  • Suggest improvements to clients systems and processes where relevant
  • Ensuring client expectations are met in terms of what they want to see and when they want to see it
  • Building and maintaining of client relationships
  • Expanding client base for the above mentioned income streams
  • Training team members
  • Help to on-board & train new employees
  • Ownership & development of accounting & bookkeeping software systems

Profile

  • ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Excellent customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills
  • Diplomatic ability to influence others at all levels of the business
  • Personable, pro-active, professional
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Highly efficient in resource management and tasks assignment
  • Self-motivation to use their initiative and innovate, when required

Job Offer
