Management Accountant - UK Wholesaler - First Time Mover from Practice - up to £50,000

A large, well established, UK Wholesaler. This business is going through a period of rapid growth and is looking to expand its finance team with a Management Accountant.

Your new role
Responsibilities in this role include; preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and commentary, Margin Analysis, Accurate balance sheet reconciliations, VAT return preparation, Compliance work including National Statistics, Preparation work for annual budgets and reforecasts, Preparation work for annual audits and working as part of a team coordinating the audit process, Various internal and external monthly reports, Project work and system development as requested by Finance Team. You'll join a team of 5 other qualified accountants and report directly to the Head of Finance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Qualified first time mover from practice looking to make your first step into industry. Experience of working with retail or wholesale clients is desirable. You should have significant post qualification experience of working with owner managed businesses. Additionally, you should be used to detailed reconciliations between unlinked legacy sales and stock systems and the accounting suit. Other desirable skills include being a good team player, ability to manage all aspects of the monthly accounts preparation process and advanced excel skills
