The client is a Russel Group University based in Sheffield. They are looking for a Commercial Project Accountant to join in a newly created commercial role. The role offers excellent opportunity to work with a range of senior stakeholders and sit on the finance leadership team. Description

As the Commercial Project Accountant you will report into the Commercial Director, duties of the role will include but are not limited to, planning and delivering on all aspects of financial management for a range of projects, working with colleagues and non-finance stakeholders from conception to project delivery, drive collaboration across teams, designing and delivering business cases for proposed investment projects, improving processes, ensure financial aspects and key terms are consistent with business case and risk analyses, deal with queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked with a range of stakeholders including senior finance professionals and non-finance members of staff ESSENTIAL
  • Have developed complex business cases for capital and revenue projects ESSENTIAL
  • Have worked within a financial project management role previously ESSENTIAL

Job Offer
