Our client are looking for an ambitious candidate to join their Tax team as a Senior Corporation Tax Specialist. You will work closely with other areas of the business to ensure that all processes are tax compliant, as well as ensuring that all corporation tax reporting is delivered in line with requirements.

Description
The Senior Corporation Tax Specialist role consists of:
- Preparation of tax returns, including filings, supporting workpapers, estimated tax payments and various other tax compliance filing requirements.
- Preparation of quarterly tax provisions in accordance with IFRS and local Statutory accounting principles, including reports to management and the external auditor, account reconciliations, tax basis balance sheet support, and execution of internal controls.
- Support the company's tax audits, responses to tax notices, and timely resolution of other tax controversy matters
- Perform technical research to address tax issues, including planning opportunities.
- Provide other tax support, which may include analyses of pending legislation, preparation of required transfer pricing documentation and reporting, and implementation of legislative changes.
- Analyse processes and recommend improvements in the immediate area of responsibility.
Profile
The ideal candidate:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent or Professional Accounting/Tax Qualification (ACCA, CTA or equivalent).
- At least 3 years experience working in corporate taxation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organised, methodical, ability to think laterally
- Ability to work in a team and also independently
- Self Motivated
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office and some knowledge of SAP would be helpful
- An interest in BEPS 2.0: Pillar One and Pillar Two would be advantageous but not essential
