Description

  • Proactively understanding the business and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Delivering the end to end management reporting processes (including the preparation of executive reporting, Board reporting and segmental reporting)
  • FP&A responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting and medium term planning processes as well as other internal and external reporting
  • Taking the lead in transformational reporting to deliver effective and insightful weekly information
  • Managing and coordinating processes by setting accurate timetables, key performance metrics and guidance to ensure delivery of stakeholder requirements
  • Acting as Business Partner for assigned stakeholders to support them in generating and interpreting business information and using it effectively to make informed business decisions
  • Reviewing and challenging local profit & loss performance to provide insightful reporting, aligned to the company's targets
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through best practice
  • Summarising complex transactions, weighing up all the relevant factors, such as how transactions impact other areas of the business to senior management and in formal board papers

Profile

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
  • Proven experience of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) is a must
  • Advanced user of MS Excel with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a pragmatic approach
  • Experience of leading planning, forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Working knowledge of balance and cash flow forecasting
  • Good commercial understanding and experience
  • Resilient, hardworking and determined to drive through change
  • Strategic finance leader with the credibility and strength to influence and shape decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
  • Knowledge of PBi with some development experience is preferred but not essential
