Your new company
I am working with a European focused (Re)Insurance group with ambitious growth plans looking to hire a senior finance professional into the London team. The business is PE backed and boasts an acquisitive, dynamic and fast paced environment with lots of positive change and opportunities for career development.
Your new role
This is a broad and varied role initially supporting on a project focused on IFRS9 and IFRS17 with additional projects and reporting work to follow on the completion of the current project. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead set up and improvement of processes to produce IFRS9/17 results
- Development of new financial reports and insights into new IFRS reports
- Lead the dry run on consolidation and reporting process
- Consolidation impacts from new IFRS reporting standards
- Business partner with stakeholders across a range of functions.
- Staff Leadership and management including ongoing development.
- Support on M&A and project work as required
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified finance professional with a proven track record working in similar roles within the insurance sector, with excellent IFRS9 and IFRS17 knowledge. You will need strong knowledge of accounting and financial processes with project management experience advantageous. SAP would be beneficial.
