Michael Page are partnering with a business in Huddersfield to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.

Client Details

The business have recently been acquired by a larger group who are investing heavily in staff and systems to quadruple turnover in 4 years - ambitious but absolutely achievable with the demand and their place in the market!

Owner managed currently the business were bought to diversify the Group's current offering and are now in a position where they need to bolster their Finance function to really maximise profit and solidify their place in the market.

Description

The business are data rich and need someone to come in and make sense of it all, building insightful financial models, business partnering with stakeholders in and out of Finance and adding real commercial value to the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the delivery of the annual budget and regular re forecasts.
  • Undertake proactive commercial analysis, including cost and benefit analysis, for the business to lead senior decision-making and to provide insight into commercial growth opportunities
  • Lead on business case creation via the delivery of accurate and timely analysis
  • Lead the post investment appraisal process by working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to complete associated analysis and reporting on project and initiative delivery.
  • Lead on the production of weekly trading reports and providing insightful commentary on actual performance.
  • Produce other regular and ad hoc reports and analysis as required to track performance trends and support decision-making.
  • Working alongside the Technology team to develop refreshable reporting that matches the needs of the company & enables real-time, actionable insight

Profile

You will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience of financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting and business partnering.
