- This is a Senior Finance role providing focal point for Finance's support of key finance and treasury activities during the development of the business
Client Details
My client is a growing global organisation who are leading the way towards a cleaner, more efficient, and secure energy future through energy storage. Their head office is based in London's west end where they employee over 100 people.
The current capital raise is due to be completed in Q1 2023 and will see >£250m of new capital being raised through a mix of debt and equity. The plan is to continue this type of activity and grow the business over the next four years and this will involve future capital raises in both UK and overseas.
Description
- Ownership of treasury policy and day to day management of borrowings, deposits and other financial instruments.
- Day to day ownership of direct and indirect taxation (with support of external advisers).
- Statutory reporting as well as reporting to investors and lenders.
- Ownership and development of finance system (SAP).
- Leadership and management of a team of two (Group Accountant and Assistant Group Accountant), ensuring they are developed and engaged.
- Ownership of tactical liquidity forecast.
- Oversight of accounting policies and controls.
- Delivery of monthly close process and consolidation.
- Statutory close and production of annual report and accounts.
- Reporting to investors and lenders.
- Day-to-day oversight of tax compliance and liaison with tax adviser.
- Liaison with company secretary regarding upkeep of share register.
Profile
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Big 4 or Top 10 trained in Audit
- Strong treasury background
- Proven team leadership experience
