Job description

Graduate programme to train as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) based at our office in Paris, France.

Dixon Wilson is a leading accountancy firm with offices in both London and Paris, with 15 partners and 150 employees in total (approx. 20 based in the Paris office).

Our Paris office is a fully recognised Training Office of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.  We offer graduates the opportunity to live and work in Paris, whilst training to become a Chartered Accountant.

We specialise in providing accountancy, tax advice and planning to private clients and companies.  The Paris office acts for both French and international clients.

We offer:

- A 3-year training contract with an interesting mix of accountancy and taxation for both UK and French assignments.

- Paris office trainees attend external training courses at a residential accountancy college in the UK, designed to enable students to pass the ACA examinations first time.

- In-house training designed to help students on a wider range of soft skills and management topics.

- Responsibility at an early stage and excellent career prospects.

See website for further details.

Person requirements

Applicants must have achieved a 2:1 in any degree discipline (minimum of 120 UCAS points, or 300 points under the old points system).

Good numeracy skills are required.  We look for candidates who have good academic ability and who are able to express themselves clearly.  Trainees must have the commitment to succeed in their examinations.

Candidates should be fluent in English and have at least basic proficiency in French.

Applications will be considered subject to obtaining (or already having) the “right to work” in France, such as an EU passport or French residency permit (assistance with this may be provided by the firm on an individual basis if accepted).
