Technical accountant opportunity offering hybrid working, 25 days holiday, varied role and supportive team
A well-known, established employer based in Leeds is recruiting for a Technical Accountant to join an established and supportive team.
As the Technical Accountant (Financial Reporting), you will focus on the overall financial reporting for the organisation and their entities. This role will be a combination of producing the statutory accounts for all entities, maintaining financial controls, reviewing accounting standards ensuring external reporting is full compliant, working with external auditors as required and ad hoc projects throughout the year.
To be successful in this role and organisation, you will first need to be a qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.). In addition to this, you will need:
- Experience in statutory reporting - with the ability to articulate/demonstrate this at interview
- Broad business knowledge where financials are concerned
- Experience with IFRS/UKGAAP
- Excellent excel and communication skills
- Experience with SAP or BPC software is advantageous
