Long term relationships

We pride ourselves on establishing strong long-term relationships with the individuals and businesses we work with. We fully recognise the importance of the link between you and your professional adviser and strive to understand you, your business and the opportunities and challenges you face to deliver a bespoke value add service.

Partner led service

All our partners have big firm experience across a range of complementary disciplines including, Audit, Tax and Corporate Finance. Our partners are always on hand to provide advice and act as a sounding board for our clients.

The role

We are currently recruiting for an audit senior role at our Maidenhead office.  The role is an exciting and varied one.
A large chunk of the role will involve audit work, with the successful candidate being responsible for leading some of our largest audits.

We have an interesting client base for our audits with clients of varied sizes and sectors including online retail, manufacturing, information technology and leisure and hospitality.  You will be client facing, dealing with directors or senior management at our clients, and helping in audit finalisation meetings.  Other aspects of the role will involve the preparation of statutory accounts and draft corporation tax returns.

The successful applicant will need to have extensive audit experience and experience in providing supervision and on the job training to more junior colleagues.  Prior experience of preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns would also be useful.

A role at DRG provides excellent prospects for career development to members of the team.  A significant number of our managers and senior managers began their careers as trainees at DRG.  Members of the DRG team are well known to partners and senior management from the commencement of their employment and those who perform well receive acknowledgement and early opportunities for career progression.

In addition to the varied and attractive work, regular CPD training is provided which will cover accounting, audit, and taxation topics, helping the successful candidate to both maintain and build on their professional skills and knowledge.

Working environment and Benefits

Our employees, after an initial induction period, are offered the chance for hybrid working if they wish.  Employees are welcome to work wholly in the office if they wish to, but are able to work at home for around half the week if preferred.

The work environment is friendly and supportive, as demonstrated by our low staff turnover.  Most of our recent vacancies over the last few years have been due to our expanding client base rather than people choosing to leave the team.  Social events are organised outside of work, which have included varied activities from football and badminton to meals and quizzes.

The combination of high quality work experience and career progression opportunities with a fun, friendly and supportive working environment, makes DRG a very attractive place to work.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and pension, with private health insurance also offered at the end of the probation period.
