Finance Manager, Birmingham, £50,000 + car allowance


HAYS are delighted to be partnering with a FTSE 250 Hospitality business to recruit for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This role focuses on operational reporting and FM duties for my clients wider group businesses, reporting into the Head of Finance Group Analysis & Operational Reporting. The successful candidate will support the wider management team through the provision of key analysis. This role would suit a Newly Qualified candidate from a Practice background, or a technically strong qualified candidate with an Industry background.

This role is offering an annual salary of up to £50,000, plus car allowance and benefits. Hybrid working is also on offer.

The key responsibilities of this role are:

• Projection/Budget processes - support central co-ordination of Brand Finance areas
• Internal project support
• Analyst support for the Finance Director of Operations
• Finance Manager support for four parts of the business which sit outside the Divisional structure:
• Initial calculation, co-ordination, and communication of the periodic sales & labour target process before Director review and download to site
• Accountable for the periodic budget adjustment process
• Manage incentive schemes from a Finance perspective
• Co-ordinate target setting and communication with key stakeholders
• Liaising with external auditors

In order to be successful in this role you will:

• Be degree qualified
• Have a Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Have strong communication skills, with an ability to simplify the complex for clear and concise onward communication.
• Have sound commercial judgement and excellent analytical skills
• Effective multi-task management, moving at pace, using judgment to prioritise competing demands.
