Part Time Permanent Accountant job in Glenrothes, salary up to £40,000 + flexible hybrid working
Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their long standing & exclusive client for a part time permanent Accountant to join their small & friendly team based just outside of Glenrothes. This role is highly flexible to suit the right individual and can offer a minimum of 15 hours and a maximum of 20 hours per week. This hours can be worked flexibly within the working week to suit each individual. This role is ideally to be worked in the office but can also offer some hybrid options. This position offers a full time salary equivalent of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director you will be in charge of completing the Accounting function for multiple entities within the Group. You will complete bank & balance sheet reconciliations, post journals, profit & loss reporting & complete monthly / quarterly management accounts. You will also complete some transactional accounting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Finance professional who is comfortable in completing junior & senior finance responsibilities including Management Accounting & also transactional accounting. You will ideally have an understanding on foreign currency, however this is not essential. Experience with Sage will be highly advantageous.
