A Finance Manager job in Portsmouth working for an SME engineering business paying up to £60,000

Your new company

A long established engineering business in Portsmouth have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to head up the finance function within a busy and fast-paced environment offering a diverse and varied role.

Your new role

Reporting to the MD and the wider group, you will take ownership of the finance activities whilst overseeing a small accounts team and business partnering to stakeholders. A s Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to bring a more forward-looking view to the business, forecasting the financial statements to deliver budget on the next phase of their growth plans.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have proven experience managing day to day financial operations preferably within the manufacturing/ engineering space, along with strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Fully qualified or QBE or part qualified studying towards completion.
