Senior Accountant for Start Up Insurance Broker - London
Your new company
Your new company is a start up insurance broker in the London market. They are owned by a large international company so have extensive backing but are looking to grow in the UK market. You will be joining a Finance Director and working closely with the CEO and the Brokers.
Your new role
You will be responsible for all of the finances for the UK entity. This includes month end accounting, managing the audit, all transactional finance. You will be setting up a lot of processes and procedures and ensuring that controls are in place.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant who is happy working in an SME environment. Insurance experience is helpful but not essential. You must have experience working on an audit and happy to roll up your sleeves as well as be able to speak to senior members of staff.
What you'll get in return
You will be working for a growing company with exciting potential. This will be a broad role where you will be covering most aspects of finance and getting to work closely with the business and the CEO. You will be on an initial 3-6 month contract which could go permanent for the right person. As they are a small company they are exempt from IR35 so you can work through a limited company (c. £300/day).
