Head of Finance & Operations

The British Dyslexia Association is a membership organisation that represents the voice of people living with dyslexia. We aim to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society that enables dyslexic people of all ages to reach their full potential. The Head of Finance and Operations will play a vital role leading core functions for our charity and as a member of the Senior Management Team.

The role is full-time with hybrid working: home-based with at least two days per week in the Bracknell office.

The successful candidate will have relevant accountancy qualifications, keen business acumen and an interest in organisational processes and systems. This post may suit a candidate looking for their first leadership position after gaining experience in a larger department, or it may suit an experienced team leader looking to move into or across the charity sector. We are seeking an individual who can build strong relationships, work collaboratively, be proactive, make a positive contribution to our caring culture, and have an energetic attitude and a good eye for detail.
