VAT Consultant - Zurich, Switzerland

This position is a hybrid role, where you will attend meetings and business events at the office in Zurich, but also have the option to work from the comfort of your own home.

Your key responsibilities

In your new role as VAT Consultant, you will be responsible for…

• Coordinating, processing and compliance of VAT reports

• Preparing VAT statements for domestic and foreign clients

• The preparation of annual VAT reconciliations

• The registration and deletion of taxable companies

• Tax administration

• Maintaining client contact and retention, along with providing VAT advice

• VAT analysis along with Swiss and cross-border issues

• Preparing and supporting the creation of VAT audits

  Requirements

  To be considered for this role you will need:

• Educated to university degree level in Law, Economics, Business, Finance or Accounting

• A proven background in a VAT compliance or consulting field

• Fluency in German and English (written and oral) is a must

• Strong MS Office skills

• Ability to work independently when necessary

• Strong numbers skills

• Eagerness to progress and develop professionally and personally
