Permanent Financial Analyst job based near Forfar, excellent hybrid working salary up to £46,000 + 30 days AL
Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive & growing client based just outside of Forfar for a permanent Financial Analyst to join their busy team. Salary is up to £46,000 depending on experience + extremely flexible hybrid working, 30 days annual leave and other benefits.
Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller & working as part of the UK & Europe finance team, you will play a leading role within the team and as a business partner to operations to deliver a best in class performance through financial & data driven analysis, process improvement, system automation and business partnering. You will be heavily involved in system & finance process improvement along with providing strong cost & financial analysis. Duties will also include revenue reporting and analysis providing insight to the sales team. You will prepare month-end analysis, cost control & analysis to understand product cost trends and controlling fixed costs. You will also be involved in the annual audit and any other financial accounting responsibilities required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with a strong working history within Management Accounting & Financial Analysis along with strong finance business partnering. Experience within cost accounting is desirable but not essential. You will be a commercial accountant with a desire to learn, question & get to know the business. Strong IT skills is essential, in particular with Excel.
