Qualified audit manager ACA ACCA for leading accountancy firm in Winchester. Excellent prospects.

You will be working for an award-winning leading firm of Accountants and Business Advisors operating across the UK, Nordics and the USA. They have seen dramatic growth in recent years which has made them the 9th largest accountancy firm in the UK, and as a result of this growth, they are now looking to invest in their skills set even further.

As a Manager in the Audit department, you will manage a portfolio of audit clients alongside the preparation of accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies. Ad hoc duties will arise in supporting the local partners as necessary. The main purpose of the role is to ensure compliance with GAAP and practical guidance is provided on regulatory matters such as tax and VAT regulations, requirements of UK law and the principles of good governance.

You will have strong experience of working within practice and have exposure to the essential elements of client service and delivery. You will have the opportunity to lead, manage, motivate and coach other members of the team so supervisory experience would be a distinct advantage. An accountancy qualification such as ACA or ACCA is essential for this role and you will have a collaborative outlook with a dynamic approach to management.
