Your key responsibilities

In your new role as the Spanish VAT Country Expert, you will be responsible for…

• Having unprecedented knowledge of Spanish VAT legislation, remaining up to date with any changes and ensuring the country team is aware of any developments

• Providing a bridge between local tax authorities and internal VAT teams

• Assessing VAT compliance, outgoing communication and supervising a small team

• Pro-actively managing accounts, including the development of processes to further optimise the client services standards

Requirements

We would be interested to hear from talented individuals who have a minimum of 3 years within VAT Compliance or in an advisory work environment, along with proven expert knowledge of Spanish VAT.

The role requires strong written and spoken English and Spanish language skills, as well as the ability to handle large amounts of data and the ability to precisely identify potential problems and issues.
