Your new role
Working within the Group Finance function you will be responsible for assisting with the Reporting and Consolidation activities of the Group. You will ensure timely and accurate collection, consolidation and validation of all monthly Management and Statutory Financial reporting activities, and provide on-going support for any accounting and reporting issues.
Daily duties will cover:

  • Provide support to the Reporting & Consolidation Manager to align key tasks including reporting systems, definitions, processes and structures and key projects
  • Establish a strong relationship with company sites so that any queries they have will be channeled through this position
  • Assist in the consolidation and reporting activities. Collect, consolidate and review Financial results and statistical information. Ensure quality & completeness of data submitted and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and document journal entries by maintaining documentation of the processes and transactions as change occurs. Responsible for month end closing for a small holding company.
  • Assist with the preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports and analysis vital to the decision-making process of management
  • Supporting quarterly statutory reporting


What you'll need to succeed
Qualifications/Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in the Finance/Controlling/Audit field
  • Bachelor/master's degree in economics, Finance, Accounting
  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Strong Excel knowledge (VBA, complex formulas, matrix, SQL, Pivot, etc)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
