Finance Manager - FTC, Crawley, Hybrid


Your new company
Our large commercial client is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for an initial 6 month FTC whilst they go through a period of change.

Your new role
You will be overseeing a team of 4, reporting directly into the Financial Controller. Your team will be responsible several areas of the accounting process. This will include maintaining the integrity of the balance sheet, minimising financial risks, liaising with external auditors throughout the audit process, completion of regulatory returns, enforcing control and compliance, ensuring the cash, asset and expenses functions are well managed, and other accounting and reporting responsibilities are completed to the expected standards, adhering to relevant policies. You will liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timelines and KPIs are adhered to whilst seeking continuous improvements to core finance processes and document procedures. You will assist the Financial Controller with the statutory reporting process including taking the lead for preparation of audit files and be a key point of liaison between external auditors and internal stakeholders including sector finance teams and contract managers. Take responsibility for all statutory disclosure requirements and ad hoc external regulatory reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with experience of statutory accounts, liaising with the auditors and managing a small finance team. Experience of using an ERP system such as SAP or Oracle, along with excellent communication skills.

What you'll get in return
This is initially a 6 month FTC role, with the view it will be extended. It is hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 remote, salary £65,000 - £80,000 plus pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private medical.
