An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to join a prestigious Comms/PR consultancy based in central London.
Client Details
My client is an independent, boutique communications and PR consultancy working with a global client base. They are growing rapidly with double-digit growth throughout 2021 and on track to beat that this year.
Headcount has reached 120 with offices in London, San Francisco and New York but headquartered in central London.
Description
The management accountant will perform essential tasks to contribute to the smooth running of the UK financial operations, including AP/AR and the month/year end reporting requirements.
Specifically
- Complete month and year end processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete bank reconciliations & monitor cash levels in the UK
- Manage the UK fixed asset register and capital expenditure budgets
- Process billing globally and manage credit control
- Process UK payroll (outsourced to an external provider) and P11ds/PSA are filed on time
- Manage purchase and make supplier payments
- Conduct UK credit card reconciliations
- Assist Finance Director and US Finance Manager with global annual statutory audit
- Assist Finance Director with bi-annual budgeting process, focusing on UK projections
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will have the following:
- Finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience
- Experience with management accounts within SMEs
- Experience within the professional services/consultancy industry
- Experience with QuickBooks desirable
Job Offer
Basic salary circa £55,000 to £65,000
Basic holiday allowance of 26 days + BH but an additional 2 weeks when they close at Christmas
Hybrid working - 3 days in, 2 days from home
