My client is seeking a Finance Business Partner who can develop the companies Business Units through the provision of robust financial and business support.

Client Details

My client is a leading not for profit company which provides high quality health care for patients. The successful candidate will be working with the Deputy Director of Finance and wider Finance team to develop the financial and operational processes of the company.

Description

  • Preparation and analysis of monthly Business Unit financial reports maintaining the highest quality, reliability and accuracy.
  • Report on detailed Revenue analysis, Financial KPIs and update the Business Unit Dashboard.
  • Work with the Business Units and wider finance team to produce quarterly forecasts and 1-3 year business plans.
  • Support the Business Unit growth opportunities by developing and reviewing costing and operational models.
  • Work with the Deputy Director of Finance and FP&A team to develop month end procedures in accordance with month end timetables.
  • Work with the relevant Business Units to develop and automate both financial and operational processes.
  • Finance Team representation and preparation of costings, ROI and Financial input to Projects and Business Cases.
  • Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process.
  • Develop robust financial controls, improve systems and processes and increase efficiency. Provide calculations and progress MEPs with service leads.
  • Process improvement both within the Department and the wider organisation.
  • Attendance at monthly finance review meetings with Business Units and other ad-hoc meetings to report on financial performance and support the Business Unit.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Director of Finance at Divisional meetings when required.
  • Support and provide guidance, direction and coaching to the Transactional Finance Team.
  • Coordinate with various departments for both month end processes as well as day to day operations.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports/information as required by the business.

Profile

  • Formal accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce and present and report to varied audiences
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate data to produce informative reports
  • Experience of working in a health care or similar administrative environment (desirable)

Job Offer

  • Up to £47,000 per year
