Job Details
Financial planning and analysis role responsible for presenting monthly budgets and quarterly forecasts alongside performing variance analysis to meet operational targets. This role would be focused on the internal departments within the university.

Description
- Responsible monitoring financial performance, maintaining the 2, 5 and 10 year business plan quarterly.
- Supporting Finance Director by providing responses to ad hoc queries.
- You will be responsible for liaising with internal departments to analyse budgets and forecasts alongside performing variance analysis to explain any discrepancies.
- Evaluating existing and developing projects and assets to determine the and appraise their value.
- Setting and tracking performance indicators for each department.
- You will oversee the performance of market research and comparable organisation analysis.
Profile
Qualified accountant (CFA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or overseas equivalent).
Ability to deal with all levels of senior management.
Management opportunities.
Experience working in Higher education or education trust desirable.
Strong financial modelling experience.
